The Boulevard Haussmann

The Boulevard Haussmann is one of the main avenues in the city of Paris. When Paris was still a medium-sized cities, this avenue represented the border between the city and its outskirts. They are magnificent 6 floors buildings, which are worth a visit just for their decorations. You can find here the biggest brands such as C & A and H & M Paris. The avenue is two kilometres long and crosses the eighth and ninth district. It 's also the street where are located the largest banks such as: Société Générale, BNP and Credit Lyonnais and Paribas.

The Parisian Geode

The Geode is a modern building with a particular spherical shape, located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, in the Parc de la Villette, a very beautiful park. In here there is a last generation film theatre which was opened in 1985.
Imax films are projected on a big screen with a diameter of 26 meters, in a room that can accommodate 400 people. A part of being a hight quality cinematographic equipment, the first peculiarity of Géode however, is that related to its very particular architecture, not only for its shape, but also for the characteristic surface consisting of a multitude of  reflective steel triangles able to create reflections.
The Geode is a symbol of science, progress and modernity, and is not a coincidence that in here take place science events.
Find accommodation in Paris and, if you want to watch a French film, spend a night at the Geode.
