The Pont des Arts

The Pont des Arts is a pedestrian bridge in Paris which crosses the Seine River.
Since its construction it had a very troubled life.
The original bridge dates back to 1804 and represented the first iron bridge in the capital. Over the years the bridge was restored several times, especially after the two World Wars.
The Pont des Arts has also experienced a big collapse in 1979 which forced the authorities to build a new bridge, similar to the previous one, with the goal of reducing the number of supports placed in the river and to widen the passages, aligning them with those of the Pont Neuf .
The new bridge was inaugurated by Jacques Chirac, then mayor of Paris in 1984.
Today it's a refuge for artists and couples because it has no  traffic and is considered undoubtedly one of the symbols of  romantic Paris . The tradition suggests that lovers stick padlocks to the bridge mentioning the name of the person he/she loves: they are the so-called locks of love.

Studying in Paris

Paris is the city of love, art, culture and  a musical language. Paris is a world so full of beauty, charm and romance that you must visit at least once in a lifetime. You can choose to attend a language course in Paris for example, seeing that  the French language is  widespread not only in France but in many other places of the world.

Rarely you'll encounter these cute canonical periphrasis during the study of the language but if you want to spend a holiday in France you will realize that such expressions abound and are an integral part of France.
Choosing French language courses in Paris, for your holidays abroad, can be really fun, but also useful to know the secrets of this language, which is rightly considered  the language of "amorous conquest" par excellence. Find hostels Paris and attend a language course.
