April in Paris

Often, those who spend their holidays in Paris,  want to enjoy every aspect of  the most beautiful city in the world, and one can not really claim to know Paris without ever having spent part of his stay in leisure and  fun.
Paris is a vibrant city where old and new, sumptuousness and seriousness live in perfect harmony.
That's why in Paris events, fairs and festivals are so numerous: the events  can affect the entire city, and indeed the whole of France, and some of its districts. An example is the famous areas of the French capital, the Montmartre and Belleville district, where some interesting art galleries are available for free (the so-called Portes Ouvertes).
From an organizational point of view, one must consider that many shops, monuments and museums in Paris are closed on public holidays.
To know the public holidays, consider that there is a “Calendrier des Manifestations” (Calendar of Events), a valuable help to know in advance the most important events taking place in Paris.
